MANNERS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

Do we have the same manners in the different countries all around the world? I checked on some topics with my Spanish partner.
-Greeting people
In Spain when we meet them for the first time a person we can kiss on both cheeks but in France it's better to shake hand.
-Visiting people
We have the same manners as. We take a present if we're invited to dinner at some one's house. We can arrive later but one difference between Spain and France is the length of time, we can arrive one hour later in Spain but not in France, just a few minutes are acceptable to be polite.
